Welcome to the Department of Zoology at Baruneswar Mohavidyalaya. The department was established on 01/06/1993 with the opening of biological science in B.Sc. level. Presently the department has two experienced faculty members, two demonstrators and one laboratory attendant. Faculty members are highly qualified, dedicated and contribute significantly to academic excellence of students. They actively encourage students for utilizing internet sources to access updated knowledge in the subject. Apart from regular classes the faculty members mentor students to prepare for various postgraduate entrance exams. Additionally, the department also hosts weekly student seminars, fostering an environment for presenting and sharing ideas. Overall department prioritizes both the theoretical and practical learning, nurturing a holistic approach towards education in Zoology by offering ample support, guidance to students. The department also provide seminar library facility to students.
