YOGA EDUCATION :
A yoga teacher is engaged to teach yoga to the students and staff daily in the morning hours to improve the moral, ethical, physical attributes of the participants.
CULTURAL ACTIVITIES :
The cultural society of the college organizes Monoaction, Music, Dance, Song, Debate, essay, Quiz, G.K, Jhoti, Arts, Caricature and other Competitions among the students. A cultural week is observed, where the winners are awarded prizes and trophies in the Annual Function of the cultural Association.
EXTRA-MORAL-LECTURES :
Eminent Speakers on different areas are invited to speak on burning topics.
ECO CLUB :
Eco-club in Baruneswar Mohavidyalaya, Arei, Dist-Jajpur, was started during the session 2002-2003. Its main objective is to create awareness among the students of about the Environmental pollution,its impact and how to preserve environment for future generation. All students are the members of the club. National Awareness programmes on “Social waste management”, was is the elixir of life”, etc. were conducted under the banner of Eco-club. There is an Eco-club garden beside the office. A medicinal plant garden is also there in this campus, maintained by Eco-Club.
BARUNESWAR BAKTRUTAMALA :
Baruneswar Baktruta mela is held once in a year in the college Campus. Eminent orators having proficiencies in field of history, Culture, Literature and Science are invited to address. Students, teachers,local educationist participate in this Baktrutamala.
PARENTS & TEACHER MEETING :
Parent-Teacher meetings are held twice in a year preferably in the month of September and in January in every academic session in order to strengthen the relationship between parents and teachers.
SELF-DEFENCE TRAINING PROGRAMME FOR GIRLS :
The college has taken up self-defence training for all girls giving honour to Govt. Instruction.
REMEDIAL COACHING CLASSES :
In order to enable students belonging to SC/ST/OBC(non-creamy layer) /Minority communities who need remedial coaching to come up to the level necessary for pursuing higher studies efficiently and to reduce their failure and dropout rate we have established a remedial coaching centre with financial assistance from the UGC.
The college is trying to have a study centre of Odisha State Open University where students will get opportunity to study Self Financing Courses of Different Diploma Courses. We have a plan to open Diploma Course in Journalism and Mass Communication, Entrepreneuship Development, certificate in communication skills, certificate in Translation (English-Odia)
