Welcome to the Department of Economics at Baruneswar Mohavidyalaya. The department was established on 01/06/1987 to provide Economics as a pass subject and on 01/06/1994 honors was imparted. Presently the department has two experienced faculty members. The department offers a comprehensive curriculum that spans macroeconomics, microeconomics, and specialized courses tailored to meet the demands of a rapidly changing world. The faculties encourage students with the analytical skills and critical thinking necessary for success in a variety of professional fields. The department emphasize the real-world applications of economics and preparing students to address contemporary economic challenges and opportunities. To make the teaching learning more effective there is a seminar library along with a central library.
